Winner! Congratulations Daniel Chui. You've won this amazing book, and I hope you enjoy it. Please email me as soon as possible.

One of my favourite lunches is banh mi (and bubble tea) from my local sandwich place. I will brave the cold (yes, even -45) for a delicious lemongrass chicken or tofu, or Vietnamese pork, especially if it is from V Sandwiches here in Edmonton.  So it was with delight that I received this gorgeous book by Jacqueline Pham, and it was everything to do with the deliciousness that is the banh mi.

This book is comprehensive. It includes everything from the banh mi baguette down to classic, but also innovative and unusual fillings to go with it. The book also includes other dishes that are found in banh mi shops and it makes a really good effort to introduce the reader to Vietnamese cuisine.

So, if you're like me and love your banh mis, it's time to get making your own and enjoy this classic sandwich that you will love.
